I have worked as a true crime expert for the Discovery Channel's crime network, Investigation Discovery. I have also covered crime for TLC, AOL News and Crime Magazine.
As a former senior investigative crime writer for Court TV's Crime Library, I received national media attention in 2003, when Dennis Rader modified a story I wrote about the BTK serial killer case and sent it to the media with proof that he was BTK. In 2005, Rader confessed to killing 10 people between 1974 and 1991.
In April 2011, I started to work for The Huffington Post as their senior crime reporter.
